In recent decades, the expansion of economic activity has been accompanied by growing global environmental concerns, such as climate change, energy security and increasing scarcity of resources.
In response, industries have recently shown more interest in sustainable production and have adopted certain corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives or Green Initiatives. What is needed now is a new vision and policies that will enable the creation of business and job opportunities that go hand in hand with a reduction in negative environmental impacts.
If you are studying in class 6th or 7th (Juniors), you will have to write a detailed essay to share some of the examples of businesses or industries, which have shown a remarkable progress in Go Green Initiative. You can share as many varied examples as possible covering different industries.
Details of the Go Green Initiative can be supported by pictures other relevant details. The report should also highlight the impact on the environment and the key differentiators. The project should be in word or PDF format for juniors.
For e.g: Dell is committed to reducing carbon dioxide emissions from all global activities by 40 percent by the year 2015.Dell is also the first company in its industry to create a product-recycling goal and complete the implementation of it.
